 On 10-23-09 I was diagnoised with breast cancer on stage IV and was afraid to tell anyone about it.  I was

in a state of shock and fear.  I thought I had walking phenomia.  I had to go to the emergency room at 

Saint Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City.  I was terrified of what all I was going through. I went from 

doctor to the other and finally ended up with the cancer doctor telling me I need to sign up for chemo.

I was not going to hear about putting poison into my body.  I want to try alternative measures. Well I tried

eating fresh vegetable juices, tried to take herbs. I studied the internet, I prayed what to do.

I went to spend Christmas with my daughter.  I was so sick I could not really eat anything.  I had bags of

water on my lungs.  They had to be drained every month.  I was  ashambed I did not want anyone to know 

I keep thinking what did I do wrong.  I love God and had in my mind I Had to have done something

wrong. I separated myself from everyone but my children who were helping me.

On 12-24-09 I went into carbornation poising none responsive. not enough oxygen.  My daughter call 911

we had a record of 14 inches of snow. I was in the country between Edmond and Guthrie.  They had to get

a four wheel drive ambulance to come and get me and it took them close to an hour to get me to the Edmond

hospital.  I was in ICU for12 days.  One of my daughter's pastors  Jay was at the hospital because his wife was 

there and she seen him in the cafeteria and ask him to come and pray for me and I was moved up to room 

408 the next day on my way out of the hospital. I had chest tubs of all kind in me. I had an ulcer in my intestens

and my lungs struggling on oxygen.

period. I got right in and had a private room and bathroom. I was in a wheel chair. I looked  at the wall and

asked God how long will I be here and I heard in my Spirit two months.  I said okay Lord two months. I worked

every day to get up or move.  I still had a chest tube and a catherader  in when I first got there and the doctors

basically give up on me.  Well I started getting up in my wheel chair.  They removed the catherader in about a

week.  Two week to the day the small chest Tube was pulled at the doctors office. On March 21 I come home

from the nursing home. 

I was so happy to be home. My son David took off the week for vacation and stayed with me because I lost

my husband on February 17, 2010. It was really nice being in my own home brought back life to me. I had to

go back to the doctor to get my lungs drained on April 21, 2010.  I could not hardly breath  by this time.

draining the water give me some relief. I had to go back to the hospital on June 21, 2010. I ended up having

my lungs drained again and I had surgery on 23 to drain water around my heart and then on July 1,2010 again

I had surgery on my right lung with a chest tube to drain each side. I ended up with seven pints of blood in about

3 days.  As quick as it was going in it it was draining out the chest tube then in one day it stopped.  I praise God

for that day.  My doctor put me on Fermara and it has been helping me ever since. I came home on July13,2010.

.  I went back to both doctors in aug and don't have to back till October now.  Praise the

Lord.  I am so thankful for the extended time I have and how good I have been feeling  good most days.  I just want to thank everyone for their prayers love and support that I have been giving through this time of need.
